Who and what place is this street named after? There was an Abbey in Ireland named Mellifont – not on hill side or mountain however.
Does anyone have any photos of the store on the corner of Mellifont and Newdegate streets run by the Misses Cawthorn? Especially the interior. Such fond memories of the sweetie tray and the overcrowded inside.
